Volunteer:

Café:  Servers, cooks and clean up crew members needed.  Lunch is served three times, daily and an evening meal is served on Sundays.  Volunteers are needed to cover all servings (10am-2:30pm, 7 days a week) for lunch, and evening meal on Sunday (4:30pm-6:30pm).  Please contact Amy Fortney, Food Services Manager, at 563.322.3811 to volunteer.  Volunteers can be used on a one time, limited or on an ongoing basis.

Mentors:  Adult mentors are needed to participate in a mentoring program for older, at-risk youths ages 16-22, who lack significant social support.  Mentors must apply and pass screening process in order to participate.  The minimum time commitment for this volunteer opportunity is eight hours per month for at least 12 months.  To learn more call Denise Johnson at 563.823.0196.

Office: Volunteers are also needed to serve as receptionists in our main shelter and to volunteer for skill development and leisure activities within our youth programs.  Please contact Denise Johnson at 563.823.0508 to learn more or to discuss how your particular skills and abilities might fit within our programs.
